What is a snapshot or thumbnail?
A snapshot or thumbnail is like a picture of a website. They come in various sizes. To see a list of the sizes Snapsor offers, click here. By using thumbnails, you can easily add small images to your website, that display for example other websites you own, or sites of friends.
What are tooltips?
Tooltips are thumbnails that appear when a visitor to your website mouses over a hyperlink. Click here to see an example. By using tooltips, you can give your visitors a preview of the website a hyperlink leads to before they click, without having to place an image on your website.
Does your service cost anything?
Our service is, and will always remain completely free to use.
Why can't I get a snapshot from a flash website?
At this time we do not display flash on our thumbnails and tooltips. Any flash website elements, or entire flash websites, will not be captured in your snapshot.
I have difficulty placing your snapshots. Can you help?
Unfortunately our time is limited, so we can't help you with placing our snapshots on your website. Instead, we recommend checking out our sponsors. If you can't find a company there that can provide you with what you need, please email us and we'll recommend our programmer to you.
How can I advertise on your site?
At this time we don't sell advertising on our website. Instead, we give away free sponsor listings and 3-month listings under "partners" (middle column) with donations. Click here to learn more.
